Portrait of Kordula De Kuthy

Kordula De Kuthy has been a postdoc researcher in the Language and AI in Education lab at the IWM since August 2024. Prior to that, she was a researcher (PostDoc) in the ALEE (Adaptive Learning in Economics Education) project at the University of Tübingen for three years. From October 2014 until September 2021 she worked in the project A4 "Comparing Meaning in Context" of the CRC 833 at the University of Tübingen. She researches and develops formal pragmatic theories and their application in the annotation of text corpora. Building on this, she has co-developed several approaches to neural question generation. Another focus of her research is in the area of intelligent tutoring systems, she was significantly involved in the first randomized field study with the intelligent language tutoring system FeedBook.

Main research topics

  • intelligent tutor systems
