Scientist
André Klemke has been an employee of the IWM since 2008 and works in media development as a software developer. His work focuses on the development of the IWM-Study experimental environment, which is used for studies in various working groups at the institute. Other projects include, for example, the development of circuits with microcontrollers and suitable hardware-related software.
In the past, the focus was on the development of touch-based applications. These ranged from applications for individual users on iPods or tablets (information systems for museum visitors, interactive map tools, learning environments) to applications for collaborative work at large multi-touch tables. Recognition systems for objects based on camera images or spatial information were also part of the scope of activities.
