Leopold Roth has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Individual Development and Adaptive Learning Lab since April 2026. Prior to that, he studied in Berlin and Vienna, where he also earned his Ph.D. in social and motivational psychology from the University of Vienna. His research at the IWM focuses on the effects of smartphone ownership among children on their mental health and self-regulatory abilities.
