Marcus Müller has been a research assistant at the IWM since May 2026, working in the e-teaching Transfer lab on the e-teaching.org and schule-mal-digital projects in the field of science communication. His work focuses on the design and further development of social media channels.

He initially studied for a teaching degree at the University of Paderborn, specialising in music and philosophy, before going on to pursue Media Studies. There, he completed his Master's degree in Culture and Society, specialising in Media Studies and Philosophy. While still a student, he worked as a student assistant in the School Pedagogy research group on the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) and also contributed to the media education journal merz.
