Theresa Süß

Since September 2026, Theresa Süß has been working as a research assistant and doctoral researcher in Dr. Man (Echo) Su’s junior research group, which is part of the Individual Development and Adaptive Learning lab. Her research focuses on designing and evaluating adaptive learning environments in hybrid, interactive spaces. The central question is how aesthetic design (e.g., through light and color) and adaptive systems can support learning processes while promoting an understanding of complex system dynamics and knowledge transfer.

Main research topics

  • Conducting learner-centered and participatory design research
  • Developing interactive and adaptive simulations for subject-specific and self-regulated learning
  • Evaluating AI-supported educational systems in terms of learning support and human-AI interaction
