We have redesigned our website. Our new IWM website has been online at https://iwm-tuebingen.de since 16 July 2025. We would like to thank everyone involved in the process once again.

The design, navigation concept and mobile view of the IWM website had become outdated. The last comprehensive relaunch of the website was more than ten years ago. It was therefore time to fundamentally overhaul the website. In particular, the focus was on improving accessibility, a new design, a new homepage and navigation menu as well as optimising the structure of the website.

As part of the ‘web relaunch’ project launched in summer 2023, a new IWM website was planned that reflects the IWM's corporate design and meets the latest technical standards. With the help of internal workshops involving an agency, the content and menu structure were redesigned at the end of 2023. Following this process, a new design was developed in collaboration with the agency and then implemented in a new content management system by our media development team. Improved accessibility was particularly important here. The new menu structure is designed to make the website more intuitive to use.
