Pedagogically sustainable AI tools for schools
In the latest episode of the podcast series ‘Datenfreiheit! – Der LfDI-Podcast’ by the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Information Security in Baden-Württemberg, Professor Dr. Ulrike Cress and the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Baden-Württemberg, Professor Dr. Tobias Keber, discuss the opportunities and risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence in education.
AI can strengthen educational biographies and at the same time support teachers in their work. For this to succeed, tools specially adapted for the school sector and a (self-)aware approach to using them are needed, among other things. These tools could be developed for practical use in a digital competence centre and an education laboratory.
